Principles of data processing:

This privacy policy informs users of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data by ABS Biotechnologies GmbH as the responsible provider. We lawfully process personal data based on legal provisions, i.e. the Data Protection Act (DSG), the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), in good faith and in a manner that is comprehensible to the data subjects, whereby we only collect personal data for defined, clear and legitimate purposes and do not process them in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes. In the course of visiting our website, your e-mail enquiry, we collect and process certain personal data relating to you. The nature, scope and purposes of this data processing are described below. The personal data we collect and process in this way is limited to what is necessary for the processing. In addition, we take technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of personal data. This is to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, publication, copying, modification or deletion of personal data. Since the technical, organisational and legal framework conditions for the processing of personal data are subject to constant and progressive development, this data protection declaration will be adapted to the changed framework conditions if necessary. Visiting the website (web server log files):

When you visit our website, we collect personal data to the extent necessary, i.e. retrieval or cancellation of retrieval of files (filename, date, time, amount of data transferred), web browser (type, version), host (domain and IP address of the requesting computer) and search words. This data is processed for statistical purposes and to optimise the web offer for our visitors and cannot be assigned to specific persons by us. This data is stored separately from any personal data that may be provided.

We use session cookies, i.e. small files that are stored on end devices when visiting this website and are automatically deleted as soon as the session is ended by closing the browser window. E-mail enquiries

We process all personal data that users transmit to us in the context of e-mail enquiries, i.e. at least the e-mail address and content text, to carry out the desired contact, pre-contractual measures and for the further maintenance of communication based on § 96 para 3 TKG. Further personal data is only collected and processed if users provide the corresponding information voluntarily. This data is deleted after the enquiry has been dealt with or, if necessary, after the expiry of the statutory retention periods.

Registration forms:

In the context of entry forms, company wording, first and last name, address, postcode, town, telephone number, fax, e-mail address, IP address and more detailed information on your enquiry are collected, in order to, carry out the contact. This is done to carry out a requested contact, pre-contractual measures as well as for the further maintenance of communication. If these are mandatory fields, they must be filled in for further processing. Additional personal data is only collected if users provide the corresponding information voluntarily. This data will be stored by us until you submit a written request for it to be deleted or will be deleted after the statutory storage and retention periods have expired.

Data transfer, recipients, other (jointly) responsible parties:

In principle, no data is transferred to third parties. If we or by using services of third parties process data in a third country, this is only done to fulfil our (pre-)contractual obligations, based on your consent, due to a legal obligation or based on our legitimate interests.

Should we pass on data to external service providers, technical and organisational measures are taken to ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of data protection. I.e. the processing is carried out on the basis of appropriate guarantees ("Privacy Shield") or in compliance with officially recognised specific contractual obligations ("standard contractual clauses").

Deletion of data:

The data we process will be deleted or its processing restricted in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 DSGVO. Stored data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. According to legal requirements, data is stored for 7 years in accordance with §132 para. 1 BAO.

Cooperation with processors and third parties:

If we transfer data to other processors or third parties or grant access to the data, this is done on the basis of a legal permission and on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO. ABS Biotechnologies GmbH has concluded a contract for commissioned data processing with Austria4U as the hosting provider. Within the scope of the following hosting services - infrastructure and platform services, storage space, database services, e-mail dispatch and storage, security services, technical and system maintenance services. We process usage data, meta and communication data, inventory data, contact data, content data, and contract data to operate our online offer based on our legitimate interests in an optimal, efficient and secure provision of our web offer according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in conjunction with. Art. 28 DSGVO (order processing).

Rights of the data subjects, right of complaint:

Data subjects have the right to information about their personal data and the right to have this data corrected. This right is available to them an unlimited number of times, but only one disclosure per calendar year is free of charge. We reserve the right to charge for any further requests for information. Data subjects will be informed of this in advance in the event of a request for information. In addition, data subjects have the right, if applicable, to restrict processing and may also object to processing or request the transfer of their personal data in structured, machine-readable form.

In order to protect the right to erasure of data subjects, we delete personal data as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and otherwise processed or the corresponding legal basis no longer exists. However, we are obliged to comply with the applicable statutory storage and retention periods. If data subjects wish to exercise their rights as described above, they must inform us of this in writing.

In order to prevent abuse of the rights of data subjects by unauthorised persons, data subjects must prove their identity to us in a suitable form.
